The Green Map Latin America & the Caribbean Hub is part of the global initiative of Green Map System. Its main goal is to support the growing numbers of locally-led Green Map projects in this part of the world. This Regional Hub provide materials, programs and other support in Spanish, Portuguese and English, helping more people become involved in Green Mapmaking.
Green Maps are locally created maps that chart the natural and cultural environment. Using adaptable tools and shared visual language of Green Map Icons to highlight green living resources, Green Maps cultivate citizen participation and community sustainability.
Green Map System is a global eco-cultural movement, energized by local knowledge, action and responsability.
